Below are some of my watercolors. All of the churches below won the Annual Church Painting contest for the Williamsport Sun Gazette.
The Annual Church Competition is sponsored by The Bald Eagle Art League and The Sun-Gazette and is open to all 2013 current members of the Bald Eagle Art League. A cash prize is awarded by The Sun-Gazette to the artist and the winning entry will be reproduced as the front page of the Christmas edition of the newspaper along with a write-up about the artist. The Williamsport Sun-Gazette Building Art Contest
Last year our local newspaper, The Williamsport Sun Gazette, sponsored an art contest involving the Sun Gazette building itself. The sponsor's couldn't decide on a winner, so 1st place went to another artist, Mike Lekites and myself. I took, probably 50 pictures of the building and combined many to create the winning watercolor. The building was an architectural delight to paint. It took months but so much fun.
